What We Do
We are Software & Data Science company specializing in Energy Intelligence (EI).
We have been processing data from low-voltage energy networks for more than 15 years.
We develop a portfolio of software modules known as embedded energy intelligence.
These modules enable, for example: accurate short-term prediction of the energy behaviour of individual consumption points, accurate short-term prediction of photovoltaic production, calculation of optimal tariff switching plans/optimisation of energy flows, etc.
We are addressing this within the framework of the major European initiative IPCEI ME/CT (Important Project of Common European Interest).
About this Member
Mycroft Mind a.s. is a Brno-based technology company founded in 2007 as a spin-off of Masaryk University. At the beginning of 2023, our company became part of the investment group TTC, which acquired a majority stake in Mycroft Mind.
Our software products offer scalable and flexible solutions for various energy sectors, including grid management, electromobility, flexibility management and energy communities.
We focus on the collection and processing of data from smart energy networks.
We develop embedded energy intelligence based on specific machine learning algorithms. These algorithms enable operation with very low memory and computing power requirements, allowing them to function in low-performance sensors. A key feature is the ability to learn directly in the sensors – each sensor autonomously adapts to the behaviour of the environment in which it is installed. These algorithms are integrated into a wide range of devices such as smart meters, EV chargers, photovoltaics and smart sockets. The goal is to provide more accurate and detailed information necessary for optimising energy flows in distribution networks, zones, and communities.
